Designing my imaginary character (my avatar)
A good book needs to be planned. Therefore, it is recommended to plan in advance the purpose of the story, the plot, the human and physical environment, and of course, it is very useful to get to know all the characters in the story in depth. A character in the story is named Avatar. This is an imaginary character that every writer stands behind, formulates her words, and describes her behavior, in different circumstances.
On the left is a video that lasts about 8 minutes and describes the avatar characterization process.
Attached to the left is a short document, one page long, which contains a proposal (instructions) for the way a writer should design the avatar he chooses to use in the story.
The second document on the left includes a recommended list of questions intended for an imaginary interview, which a writer holds with his avatar, to get to know him in four dimensions of his life. At the end of the interview, the writer should get to know his avatar in his physical, inner, social, and spiritual world. The questionnaire includes dozens of questions. It is not necessary to answer all the questions at once. First, answer a limited number of questions from each of the five categories and you can always complete the rest, when the need arises, depending on the development of the plot.
All answers will remain with you only. Please do not show the answers to the questions to the other writers. The answers you will receive from the avatar are "personal/private" and will not be published except at your initiative - if you wish, and only when you have finished writing.
It is not necessary to answer all the questions. You can go back and update the answers during the writing of the book.
The questions are based on the methodology developed by the authorUri Peretz Sharon and on a basisThe driving factors model which was developed within the company win3solutions.
